The National Cancer Society of TCI will be hosting its 7th Teeing ‘fore’ a Cure charity golf fun scramble on Sunday, 7th May 2023 starting at 1:00pm at the Royal Turks & Caicos Golf Club.
The month of May is recognized as “All Cancer Awareness Month” and the event is planned to assist with fund raising for the NCS and to raise awareness of cancer, its effects, mitigation and support.
The Teeing ‘fore’ a Cure event started in 2014 and had 6 successful years until 2019. Due to the Covid pandemic and its after effects and resulting restrictions the event could not take place in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
The NCS Teeing ‘fore’ a Cure is a fun golf event for golfers of all ages and skill level. Kia Connolly Motors will be sponsoring a Kia Sportage as the hole in one prize on the 8th hole…We hope that this year someone wins the prize.
The NCS Teeing ‘fore’ a Cure has been a success due to the support of sponsors and players. There are generally over 100 participants in the event and it is expected that 2023’s edition would be just as big.
