Fatal North Caicos Crash Shocks Family, Friends


Family members and close friends of Ernold Hall 43, who was killed in an early morning auto accident on Sunday, July 3, are still reeling from the devastating news.



Ernald Hall, the man killed in the single traffic crash in North Caicos

Hall, the son of former police commissioner Edward Hall, was killed after a car in which he was driving crashed in a tree along the Kew Highway in North Caicos at about 7:0am. Reports are that he was the sole occupant of the silver Nissan March.


Elder sibling Devon Capron, who was close with Hall up to the time of his death, said he was devastated by the news of his brother’s demise.


“I still can’t believe it,” he was able to muster.


According to reports from the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force, police and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were dispatched to the scene, where they attended to a male victim who appeared lifeless.


“Shortly after(arrival), a medical doctor pronounced the victim Ernold Hall 43 years old of Whitby North Caicos dead, after examination. Investigations continue,” a police report said.


Acting Commissioner of Police, Mr. Rodney Adams, who weighed in on the accident, said: “On behalf of the Force Executive Team and the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force, I would like to express condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. This incident is being investigated by the RTCIPF Traffic Enforcement Team.”
