Planning Board Approves Mausoleum Construction For Deceased Pastor Wayde Coleby


Pastor Coleby passed away on January 14, 2024.

The Physical Planning Board has approved the construction of a mausoleum for late Healing Waters Ministries Pastor, Wayde Coleby.

 

The mausoleum construction was approved at the Physical Planning Board’s 757th Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. The meeting was held via video conferencing.

 

A mausoleum is an external free-standing building constructed as a monument enclosing the burial chamber of a deceased person or people.

 

In addition to Environmental Impact Specialist, Dr. Bethia Thomas; Development Control Engineer – Mr. Eugene Wiliams; and Assistant Director/Secretary of the Physical Planning Board – Mr. Reginald Charles, the meeting was attended by Chairman Mr. Andryell Misick, Vice Chairman Mr. Marciano Williams, John Williams – Member, Dainer Lightbourne – Ex-Officio Member – Planning Department, and Kevern DeBellot – Ex-Officio Member – DDME.

 

Pastor Coleby died suddenly on January 14, a few hours after delivering a sermon at Healing Waters Ministries – the church that he pastored. Healing Waters Ministries is located along the Millennium Highway in Providenciales.

 

Healing Waters Ministries hosted a praise and worship meeting in honor of the beloved pastor on January 16 at the church. It also announced a “Suspenders Remembrance Night – A Service of Prayer and Praise”, on February 1. Pastor Coleby was famous for wearing suspenders.

 

Also on February 1, will be the viewing of the body at Healing Waters Ministries from 3pm. To 6p.m. The funeral service is scheduled to be held on Friday beginning at 1p.m. at Abundant Life Ministries International.

 

Pastor Coleby was also a marriage officer as well as a tourist taxi driver.
