Widwina Ariza Appointed as Human Resource Officer


The Office of the Deputy Governor proudly announces the appointment of Ms. Widwina Ariza to the post of Human Resource Officer within the Human Resource Management Directorate.


 Ms. Ariza's journey towards excellence commenced following the completion of her tertiary studies in 2008 when she embarked on a path of continuous learning and professional development.


 In 2010, she distinguished herself by successfully completing an Associate Degree in Business Studies at the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College, laying a solid foundation for her future endeavors.


 In 2014, Ms. Ariza joined the Turks and Caicos Islands Public Service as a Clerical Officer in the Ministry of Immigration and Border Services. Throughout her tenure, she proved to be an invaluable asset, demonstrating exceptional diligence, competence, and dedication in her role.


 Despite her full-time commitments, Ms. Ariza remained steadfast in her pursuit of higher education and career advancement. In 2016, she embarked on further studies at the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College, where she pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management.


Her determination and perseverance culminated in the successful completion of her degree, underscoring her commitment to personal and professional growth.


In recognition of her outstanding contributions and qualifications, Ms. Ariza's career trajectory within the public service continued to ascend. In 2017, she was promoted to the position of Citizenship Caseworker in the Department of Registration and Citizenship, where she continued to excel in her duties.


Her exemplary performance led to yet another promotion in 2022, this time to the role of Senior Caseworker, further solidifying her reputation as a capable and accomplished professional.


 Commenting on her appointment Ms. Ariza stated:

“I’m a firm believer in Philippians 4:13:  “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”


 It is an honor and a privilege to now serve in the capacity of Human Resource Officer.  It is my ultimate goal to carry out my duties with dignity and pride. I vow to continue to serve my country and its’ people to the best of my ability.


 Again, I would like to thank the Turks and Caicos Islands Government for this great opportunity.”
