Adventure Minds, a New Child Development Program Opens in Providenciales

A new chapter in child development and family support has officially begun with the grand opening of Adventure Minds, an innovative childcare and structured learning program founded by Mrs. Synovia Jackson, formerly known throughout the community as Ms. Thomas.

With more than a decade of experience working with children, Mrs. Jackson established Adventure Minds to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children can build confidence, develop social and life skills, and discover a lifelong love for learning.

Located at the Salvation Army’s Brighter Futures Centre in Providenciales, the program embraces children with diverse learning styles and is committed to creating an inclusive space where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.

“Adventure Minds is more than a childcare program it’s a place where children are encouraged to explore their potential, families find meaningful support, and every milestone is celebrated,” said Mrs. Jackson. “My vision has always been to create a space where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to thrive.”

The grand opening welcomed families, community leaders, supporters, and local partners for a celebration featuring children’s activities, entertainment, refreshments, and guided tours of the new facility. The event marked the beginning of a new resource dedicated to serving children and families across the Turks and Caicos Islands.

According to Mrs. Jackson, Adventure Minds offers structured daily programming focused on communication, social development, emotional growth, life skills, creativity, and school readiness through engaging, hands on learning experiences. The organization is committed to partnering with families and the wider community to help children reach their fullest potential in a caring and supportive environment.

As Adventure Minds opens its doors, Mrs. Jackson hopes the program will become a trusted resource for families seeking a positive, inclusive, and enriching experience for their children.

He said Adventure Minds is now welcoming new families and looks forward to making a lasting impact on the lives of children throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands.
