The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in collaboration with the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force, wishes to advise the general public that ALL Temporary Plates (T-Plates) are no longer valid.

With immediate effect, any vehicle found to be operating with these plates will be ticketed. This will be strictly enforced.

Persons are urged to visit the Department of Motor Vehicles to ensure that they are up to date and compliant with the Road Traffic Ordinance. Failure to do so will result in persons being fined.

Please note that the DMV’s office operating hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
