The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force is working to identify a man whose body was recovered from the sea today.
At around 1:50 PM, the 911 Control Room received a report of an unresponsive male floating off Grace Bay Beach. The Marine Unit promptly responded to the scene and retrieved the Caucasian male, estimated to be in his mid to late forties.
The individual was transported to South Bank Marina, where a Medical Doctor pronounced him deceased upon arrival. Although no signs of foul play have been detected, investigations are ongoing to determine the cause and circumstances of his death.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact their nearest police station, call 911, or reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477. Information can also be submitted anonymously through the Crime Stoppers P3 app.
