Business Continuity Training Workshop – February 2024

Writer: NewslineTCINewslineTCI

The Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies (DDME) will be hosting a series of Business Continuity Trainings on the various islands of the Turks and Caicos within the month of February 2024.

It is important to remember that hazards can occur at any time and can impact the ability of an individual, business or agency from continuing operations.

The training aims to provide a clear methodology that can guide TCIG as well as small, medium, or large business operators, of actions that can be undertaken prior to the impact of any natural or man-made hazards that can aid in a reduction of loss time and all financial implications that can be associated. Participants will also learn how to develop and/or update comprehensive business continuity and contingency plans that are consistent with industry standards and best practices.

The arranged schedule for the trainings is below:

DDME takes the opportunity to invite Executives, Managers and Planners from within the TCIG Public Service, as well as Private Business owners who have responsibility for developing Business Continuity Plans/Disaster Recovery Plans, as well as individuals with direct oversight in managing the Continuity of Operations and Contingency Planning elements of their organization to register for this training.

The training will be facilitated by qualified and experienced Disaster Risk Management Professionals from the Region.  The DDME encourages all interested individuals not to miss this opportunity as we seek to improve the resiliency of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Interested persons are encouraged to register via the link below. DDME looks forward to productive and rewarding sessions.
