Cheshire Hall WFC, SWA Sharks WFC To Faceoff In Final

Cheshire Hall and SWA Sharks will contest the final of the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) Women’s Premier League at the TCIFA Field on Friday.

A seven-minute strike by Kalea Missick enabled Cheshire Hall to clip Teachers by a goal to nil in the opener of the double header.  Missick, due to her solid performance on the field was later adjudged Cheshire Hall FC’s player of the match. Edna Jeanty was named player of the match for Teachers.

In the second encounter a double strike by prolific goal-scorer Anika Harry carried SWA Sharks Women FC to a 2-0- shutout of Academy Eagles W-FC by two goals to nil. Harry’s goals came in the 15th and 43rd minute.

Harry, due other commanding performance on the field, was later named player of the match. Jade Henfield was named Academy Eagles’ player of the match.
