Police Commissioner Trevor Botting is refuting that a video which circulated on social media on Thursday January 20, was not of a robbery.
He said it was in fact the arrest of a wanted individual, who was taken into Police custody, in connection to matters under investigation.
As a result, Commissioner Botting is reminding the public to exercise discretion and verify the source before posting or sharing any news on public platforms, that could cause confusion and public panic.
"You are reminded to wait for official Police updates," he urged.
