Kishco, batting first, endured a difficult outing at the crease as the GK Foods bowlers kept tight control from the opening over. Early pressure quickly turned into wickets, preventing Kishco from building any meaningful partnerships.

The standout performer was Dilakgi, who delivered an exceptional spell of 3 overs, 1 maiden, 4 runs, and 3 wickets, dismantling the middle order and putting Kishco firmly on the back foot. His accuracy and disciplined line made scoring extremely difficult and triggered a collapse that Kishco never recovered from.

He received excellent support from the rest of the bowling unit. Nagarajan Kuthalingam claimed 2 wickets for 11 runs in 2 overs, while Ashok Kumar also picked up 2 wickets for 13 runs. Rajakumar Kasi and Akhilesh Chathurakinarulla added a wicket each, ensuring the pressure never eased on the struggling batting side.

Kishco’s batting lineup found it difficult to get going. Mario Smith was dismissed early for 1, while Wasim Shakh managed 5 before falling to Nagarajan. Vinod Panikar added just 2 runs, and Alson Byfield was dismissed without scoring.

Winston Callam contributed 2 runs, while Kajee added 2 before being run out. The only batsman to show some resistance was Soneswaran Chinnatham, who scored 14 runs from 20 balls, including three boundaries, briefly stabilizing the innings before becoming another victim of the GK Foods attack.

The tail offered little resistance, with Sreejith Krishnan and Vicas Nair both dismissed for ducks. Preeham Fernandez chipped in with 4 runs, while Abhi Dodmani remained unbeaten on 0.

Despite the batting struggles, Kishco received significant help from extras, which contributed 24 runs, including 16 wides, 4 byes, and 4 leg byes. However, it was not enough to rescue the innings as the team was bowled out for 54 in 11.1 overs, scoring at a run rate of 4.8.

Chasing a modest target of 55 runs, GK Foods approached the innings with confidence and aggression. Opening batsmen Ganesan Kuthalingam and Mathan Selvakumar quickly seized control of the match.

Ganesan led the charge with a fluent and attacking knock of 26 not out from 17 balls, striking four boundaries and one six while maintaining an impressive strike rate of 152.9. His aggressive stroke play immediately put Kishco’s bowlers under pressure.

At the other end, Mathan Selvakumar played a steady supporting role, finishing 15 not out from 12 balls, including two boundaries, rotating the strike well and keeping the scoreboard moving.

The duo combined for an unbeaten opening partnership that carried GK Foods all the way to victory, reaching 56 without loss in just 4.4 overs at an impressive run rate of 12.0.

Kishco’s bowlers were unable to find breakthroughs during the chase. Mario Smith conceded 26 runs in his 2 overs, while Winston Callam was the most economical with 10 runs from 2 overs. Kajee bowled just four deliveries, conceding 15 runs as GK Foods raced toward the target.

Dilkaji Gurang was named Player of Match.
