Education Minister Calls Urgent News Conference To Address Special Needs

Education Minister Hon. Rachel Taylor

The Ministry of Education is to hold what it calls an 'urgent' news conference early Friday Morning to address special needs education in the wake of founder of Ashley's Learning Center Angela Williams announcing in a news conference on Thursday that the School may have to be close due to a dearth of funding from government.

Friday's News news conference is slated to address the plans and programmes the Ministry of Education has in store for special needs. Williams, in the news conference, places the school's hardship squarely at the feed of the government for what she claimed was a reneging of promises.

The impending school closure, according to Williams, will affect more than 30 special needs and autism challenged students. Breaking down at one point during the news conference, Williams pleaded with the Ministry of Education to see about the special needs learning institution.
