Education Ministry Launches 2024/25 Season of National Internship and Apprenticeship Programme

The Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Social Services has announced the launch of the 2024/2025 season of the National Internship and Apprenticeship Program.


 Designed to foster professional growth and development, this initiative offers invaluable opportunities for Turks and Caicos Islanders to gain hands-on experience in their chosen fields.

Registration for the program opens on February 28th and runs through March 29th, providing aspiring interns and apprentices ample time to secure their spots in this esteemed program.


 The TCINIAP is divided into two programs:

1. The Internship Program: Tailored for tertiary students who are still in the process of obtaining their degree, this program runs for 4 to 6 weeks with a stipend of $250 per week.

2. The Apprenticeship Program: Geared towards students who have graduated with their degree, this program spans nine to twelve months with a monthly stipend of $1800.

As an added bonus, participants will also engage in several personal development workshops and training sessions. Areas such as Branding, Self-Actualization, Mindfulness, Productivity, Connecting the Dots, and many more are addressed in these sessions.


The requirements for the 3rd annual TCINIAP are as follows:

- Applicants must be 16 years or older.

- Must provide a tertiary transcript/degree (college/university).

- Must provide proof of legal status (Islander Status Card or B.O.T.C Passport).

- Must provide a Resume & Cover Letter.


 The Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Social Services encourages ALL Turks and Caicos Islanders/BOTC students, both abroad and locally, to register for the program.
