Former NFL Star Itching To Start School Programme In TCI

If former National Football League (NFL) superstar Donald Ward Penn has his way, a full-fledged local programme could be on the cards as early as next year.


Penn, in an interview with NewslineTCI on Wednesday, November 22, said he was ready to bring in some of his former teammates to build a programme locally so to enable the Turks and Caicos Islands becoming a viable American Football Country in the medium to long term.

Penn spoke to NewslineTCI shortly after meeting with students at the A. Louise Garland Thomas High School in Providenciales, where he delivered motivational talks. Also, in attendance was Acting Commissioner of Police Rodney Adams, who also gave encouraging speech to the students.
