G.E.M.S., Eagles Basketball Return with Session #2 of Annual Showcase at IGA Sports Complex Today, Tomorrow

After a highly successful kickoff last week, GEMS Recruiting Services in conjunction with Eagles Basketball is back in action with Session #2 of the 1st Annual Basketball Showcase, happening today, Thursday, June 19, and continuing on Friday, June 20, at the IGA Sports Complex.

 

Last week’s opening session drew impressive attention, with three college coaches visiting the Turks and Caicos Islands and five schools represented, resulting in 13 young men receiving scholarship offers—a phenomenal outcome for both athletes and organizers.

Now, all eyes are on Session Two, which promises even more exposure and opportunity. With a mix of college programs, high schools, and prep schools expected to be in attendance, the event is shaping up to be another milestone moment for aspiring players across the islands and beyond.

 

Leading the charge is Dr. Ray Evans, President of G.E.M.S. Recruiting Services and Head Coach of Blazer Elite Sports Academy. Dr. Evans, known for his passion and commitment to student-athlete development, returns to guide this showcase, ensuring athletes have a platform to demonstrate their talent and gain valuable mentorship.

  • Blazer Elite Academy

  • Barber College

  • Victory International Prep

  • Potters House

  • Bell Creek Academy

Daily sessions begin at 3:00 PM, and organizers are urging fans, scouts, and families not to miss what promises to be an electrifying and potentially life-changing event for local talent.
