Graceway Supermarkets Celebrates Its Team at 2025 Staff Awards

Graceway Supermarkets proudly brought its team together on December 9, 2025, for its Annual Staff Awards Ceremony, an evening dedicated to celebrating the people who make Graceway a trusted part of everyday life across the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The ceremony welcomed team members from both retail and non-retail operations, highlighting the dedication, teamwork, and commitment that continue to strengthen Graceway Supermarkets and the communities it serves. From long-serving employees to standout departments and rising stars, the evening was a heartfelt celebration of service and excellence.

Honouring Years of Service

Graceway Supermarkets recognized employees who reached significant service milestones in 2025, thanking them for their loyalty and continued contribution.

10 Years of Service Awards were presented to: Nikel Valbrun, Nesby Laurant, Charitable Joachim, Jamal Whyley, Astride Senatus, Ilene Morley, Sandra Harvey, Jane Forbes, Mary Beatrice Walcott, Carola Obas Williams, Marie Lamour, Ewen Rolle, Suze Williams, Angeline Desinor, Miguel Auguste, and Patrick Musgrove.

20 Years of Service Awards were awarded to: Fedet Telfort of Graceway IGA Grocery and Anthony Plunkett of the IT Department.

Celebrating Excellence in Retail

Graceway also recognized outstanding retail team members who go above and beyond every day to serve customers with care and professionalism.

Customer Choice Awards went to:Sharda Gray (Graceway IGA), Fati Abdalla (Graceway Gourmet), Andino Parker (Smart), and Jenifer Quilente (Graceway Grand Turk).

Staff Choice Awards were presented to:Gary Pompilus (Graceway IGA), Shanan Maharaj (Graceway Gourmet), Naomi Hamilton (Smart), and Silvano Samuels (Graceway Grand Turk).

Department of the Year 2025 awards were proudly awarded to:

• Graceway IGA – Dairy Department, led by Fatima Cox

• Graceway Gourmet – Front End Department, led by Mimose Elvariste

• Smart – Deli Department, led by Emanise “Matt” Dorcent

• Graceway Grand Turk – Grocery Department, led by Jesrell Kadusale

Retail Employee of the Year 2025 recipients were:Angel Luis Bautista Brite (Graceway IGA Dairy), Kettiare Germeau (Graceway Gourmet Front End), Raguel Jean Baptiste (Smart Deli), and Clarine Augustine Carter (Graceway Grand Turk Grocery).

Recognizing Non-Retail Teams

Behind the scenes, non-retail teams play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. Graceway proudly recognized their contributions as well.

Employee of the Year 2025 awards were presented to:Pierre “Marco” Polidor (Graceway Food Service), Leomanuel Valcin (Graceway Cash ‘N’ Carry), Telusma Faustin (Maintenance Department), and Rukine Pierre (Administrative Department).

Department of the Year 2025 awards were awarded to:

• Graceway Food Service – Logistics Department

• Graceway Cash ‘N’ Carry – Cleaning Department

• Graceway Maintenance – Refrigeration Department
