Grand Turk Murder Accused Remanded to Prison

Nineteen-year-old Kaden Lightbourne of Grand Turk has been remanded in prison until October 4, 2024, following charges related to the death of Stavardo Talbot.


Lightbourne appeared before the Grand Turk Magistrate’s Court on Monday, August 26, 2024, where he was formally charged by officers from the Grand Turk Criminal Investigations Department. The charge stems from the fatal shooting of Talbot, which occurred on August 4, 2024, near the Parade Ground in Back Salina.


Talbot, a resident of South Back Salina, was reportedly shot multiple times in the incident. Authorities continue to seek assistance from the public to aid in their investigation.
