Haitian Pair Faces TCI Courts on Gun, Unlawful Entry Charges

Two Haitian Nationals are to face the Magistrate’s Court after being allegedly found with firearms in their possession, by the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force.

 

The two are Roodvens Sinaus 37 and Wilder Dieuveuil 25. Sinaus was charged on Thursday, July 11, 2924, while Dieuviuil was charged by the police on Friday, July 12, 2024. The two are also facing unlawful entry into the Turks and Caicos Islands.

 

According to the police, Sinaus was charged with three counts of Firearm possession, three counts of ammunition, and one count- unlawful entry. Dieuveuil, aka “Baligaz was charged with three counts of possession of firearm, three counts of ammunition and one count of unlawful entry.

 

The police said the charges were leveled against the men after police officers consulted with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.


Both accused were held by officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force on the morning of July 08 at a residence in Dock Yard, Providenciales, during Operation MIGHT.


The RT&CIPF is asking the public to notify the closest police station, contact 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, and anonymously give any information on illegal activity.
