Jai’s has announced the remarkable success of the 2024 Jai’s In The Pink raffle, which raised an incredible $22,000 for breast cancer awareness.
This annual event continues to grow in support, thanks to the collective effort of the TCI community, loyal residents, and visitors who contributed to this important cause.
This year, $20,000 of the funds raised will be donated directly to the TCI Cancer Society, helping to provide crucial support for individuals affected by breast cancer in the community. An additional $2,000 will go toward upgrading the treatment and care room in the Oncology Department at Cheshire Hall Medical Center, enhancing the comfort and care provided to patients during their journey.
The first prize of the raffle was a special edition Tudor Black Bay Chronograph 41mm watch with a striking pink dial, while the second prize was a David Yurman Cable Collectibles® 18K Rose Gold Necklace featuring pink sapphires.
In addition to the main raffle, Jai’s organized a special raffle for women currently undergoing treatment, ensuring they could also be part of the event. With the support of their partner David Yurman, one lucky patient won a Cable Collectibles Pink Ribbon Necklace.
Members of the Jai’s team also visited the oncology unit at Cheshire Hall Medical Center, bringing warmth and hope to the women undergoing treatment. Each patient received a David Yurman pink cable bracelet as a symbol of care and encouragement.
Manisha Tolani, Head of Marketing at Jai’s, expressed the importance of the cause, stating, “This cause holds a deeply personal place in our hearts. We are grateful to everyone in the Turks and Caicos community who continues to stand with us and support this cause. Together, we are making a difference, and we hope to continue raising awareness and offering support in the years to come.”
The Jai’s team extends their heartfelt thanks to all those who purchased raffle tickets and contributed to making this year’s fundraiser a success.
