Founded by local creative entrepreneur and video producer André Kerr, Legasea has been developed as a modern, digital-first media platform designed to give Caribbean stories the cinematic treatment they deserve, authentic, inspiring, and produced to world-class standards.

“Legasea was born from a simple but powerful belief,” said Kerr. “Our stories matter. Our people matter. And the Caribbean deserves a platform that tells its stories from within, not from the outside looking in.”

At launch, the platform will introduce a dynamic slate of original programming, including:

Island Icons — A compelling series celebrating influential Caribbean figures shaping culture, business, leadership, and national identity.

Paradise Found — A visually rich exploration of Caribbean destinations, luxury experiences, and the lifestyle that has made the region globally admired.

The Current — A modern, forward-thinking news and current affairs program created to inform, engage, and connect audiences across the islands.

In addition, viewers can look forward to the Turks and Caicos Series, a signature documentary collection exploring the stories, heritage, and defining voices of the islands. One of the pilot projects, Grand Turk, will premiere exclusively on the Legasea platform, offering an in-depth cinematic portrait of the nation’s historic capital through culture, community voices, and untold narratives.

Several additional original productions are already in development, spanning documentary storytelling, travel, culture, business, and human-interest programming — reinforcing Legasea’s commitment to diverse, high-quality regional content.

Kerr emphasized that the long-term vision extends far beyond a single territory.

“Our goal is not simply to build a local platform — we are building a Caribbean platform,” he said. “We are actively forming partnerships with creators across the region to ensure Legasea becomes a true home for Caribbean storytelling, collaboration, and creative opportunity.”

In the coming weeks, audiences can expect a steady rollout of promotional materials, trailers, and preview releases as anticipation builds toward the platform’s official launch date, which will be announced soon.

“This is legacy work,” Kerr added. “We are creating a digital archive of who we are — our achievements, our voices, our beauty, and our resilience — and presenting it at a global standard.”

Upon launch, Legasea will be accessible via mobile and smart devices, with the app available for download through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

As momentum builds, audiences are encouraged to follow Legasea’s official social media platforms for exclusive previews, behind-the-scenes content, and launch announcements.
