Local visual artist Hezron Henry is set to make his mark at The Bahamas' inaugural FUZE Art Fair, scheduled to run from October 27 to 29.


FUZE, a pioneering regional art fair, will be hosted at the prestigious Baha Mar, serving as a central attraction during this year's Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival. The event is poised to unite art enthusiasts and immerse them in the vibrant tapestry of Caribbean visual art traditions.


FUZE's primary objective is to establish an integrated art ecosystem that propels artistic expressions within the region, facilitating their convergence with innovative concepts, new audiences, and emerging platforms, both locally and on the global stage.


This event presents a unique opportunity for art aficionados to delve into the rich cultural offerings of Caribbean visual art communities. Partner galleries participating in the fair include the TERN Contemporary Art Gallery of The Bahamas, The Fresh Milk Art Platform from Barbados, Sixty 2 Sixty Contemporary Art Gallery from The Bahamas, and Project I.C.E., Incubator for Collaborative Expression from The Bahamas.


Hezron Henry's works will be displayed alongside those of some of the region's most prominent artists, including Antonius Roberts OBE, a distinguished curator, sculptor, and painter from The Bahamas; Steven Schmid, a notable Hexagon Artist also hailing from The Bahamas; KEEYA, a talented Hexagon Artist from The Bahamas; Kachelle Knowles, another accomplished Hexagon Artist from The Bahamas; and Akilah Watts, a renowned visual artist from Barbados.
