With about two and half months to go before the staging of Made in TCI 2023 Trade Show, the organizers are actively searching for an events coordinator and also a marketing coordinator.
Made in TCI is the National Trade Show is geared towards the promotion of locally produced goods and services.
The inaugural show was held on October 29, 2022, at the Stubbs Diamond Plaza in Providenciales and showcased agricultural products, hand-made jewellery, beverages, skin care products, leather goods, home goods, arts and craft, tobacco products, photography services, catering, services, events management services from providers across the Turks and Caicos Islands.
As preparations are underway to organize Made in TCI 2023, the Department of Trade, Industry & Fair Competition via news release said it was actively searching for capable individuals or companies to take on various advertised roles.
“Qualified consultants are invited to apply to the following available positions for Made in TCI 2023: Events Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator,” the release said.
“The core responsibility of the events coordinator revolves around overseeing and managing all logistical aspects related to the event to ensure a seamless execution of Made in TCI 2023.
“On the other hand, the Marketing Coordinator's principal duty is to supervise, manage, and implement a marketing campaign that efficiently and effectively promotes Made in TCI 2023. The news release added: “Persons interested in applying for the positions of Event Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator for the Made in TCI 2023 should forward their application to tradetci@gov.tc by 4:00 p.m. on September 1, 2023.
