Officers of the Serious Crime Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have formally charged 21-year-old Watson Louidor in connection with a series of armed robberies that occurred on October 3 and 4, 2025.

Louidor, who resides in the Dock Yard area, faces multiple charges, including robbery, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear, handling stolen goods, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, and discharging a firearm.

Police say the charges stem from a series of incidents that took place over the two-day period, during which a firearm was reportedly used to intimidate victims and commit robbery. Following a detailed investigation, the Serious Crime Unit gathered sufficient evidence to charge Louidor.

The accused is currently in police custody and is expected to appear before a Magistrate next week to answer to the charges. The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force has reaffirmed its commitment to tackling violent crime and ensuring that those responsible for endangering public safety are brought before the courts.
