Man Charged After Rifle and Ammunition Seizure

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) has charged 22-year-old Dario Butterfield of Millennium Highway, Blue Hills, in connection with the recovery of a high-powered rifle and 255 rounds of assorted ammunition on August 22, 2025.
Butterfield, identified by police as a member of the Blue Hills/Five Cays Organised Crime Group (OCG), faces charges of possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
He is scheduled to appear before the Magistrate’s Court in the coming days.
