Man Charged in Connection with Aqua Blue Villa Aggravated Burglary
The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) has charged 22-year-old Jamaican national, Nicalos Alessandro Lewin, residing in Providenciales, in connection with the aggravated burglary reported at Aqua Blue Villa on 6 September 2026.
Following investigations conducted by the Serious Crime Unit of the RTCIPF, Lewin has been charged with the offences listed:
Obtaining Property by Deception
Obtaining Pecuniary Advantage by Deception
Handling Stolen Goods
The charges relate to the alleged use and possession of credit cards reported stolen during the incident.
Lewin remains in police custody and is expected to appear before the court later this week.
One female is also in custody and assisting officers with ongoing investigations. Enquiries into the matter remain active, and further updates will be provided as necessary.
Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to pursuing all lines of enquiry and bringing those responsible before the courts. He also appealed to members of the public who may have information relevant to the investigation to come forward and assist the police.
The RTCIPF remains committed to thoroughly investigating serious offences and holding offenders accountable through the judicial process.
