Man Charged In Isaac Missick's Beheading

Investigators from the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have charged a man in connection with the beheading of North Caicos resident, Isaac Missick.


Police have identified him as 35-year-old Idi Lewis Iton of Kew, North Caicos.


Mr. Iton was formally charged and cautioned on Friday, November 5, 2021. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Court this week.


Head of Crime and Public Protection Superintendent Lisa Mitcheson and the management team of the Serious Crimes Unit has expressed gratitude to the Officers involved.


'Their continued dedication to keeping the Turks and Caicos Islands a safe place for both residents and visitors alike is appreciated and supported', a police statement said.


The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force will provide additional updates as this murder investigation progresses.


The Police force is still asking for the public’s assistance in the incident.
