Man Charged with Firearm Possession Following South Dock Road Incident

A 32-year-old man from Five Cays, Providenciales, has been formally charged in connection with a firearm-related offence.
On April 28, 2025, police charged Alexander Joseph with possession of a firearm, following investigations into an incident that occurred last year. The matter stems from an event that took place on the evening of Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Red Bar, located on South Dock Road, Providenciales.
Joseph remains in police custody and is expected to make his first court appearance later this week. Authorities have not yet disclosed the specific details of the incident but confirmed that it involved the unlawful possession of a firearm at the popular nightlife spot.
The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force continues to take a firm stance against gun-related offences, and officials have reiterated their commitment to keeping communities safe through both proactive operations and community cooperation.
In a statement, police urged residents to continue supporting law enforcement efforts by reporting suspicious or criminal activity.
