The 2022 Maskanoo event, which was suspended after 2019 because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, came back with a bang. The event held on Boxing Day, December 26, was attended by thousands, who packed sections of the Grace Bay strip to enjoy parades by Junkanoo groups, local music from local bands and hype music by the disc jockeys.
