Medical Technologist’s Body Discovered in Vehicle in Blue Hills

A sense of sorrow has swept through Blue Hills following the death of 36-year-old medical technologist, Andrico Garland, who was found unresponsive inside a vehicle on Wilson Circle on the evening of Friday, September 18, 2025.

Police say the Control Room received a call shortly after 8:30 p.m. reporting a possible body inside a parked vehicle. Responding officers confirmed the discovery and secured the scene. A medical doctor later attended and officially pronounced Mr. Garland dead.

Garland, the Chief Medical Technologist with the TCI Government, a respected member of staff at Cheshire Hall Medical Centre, was well regarded for his professionalism and commitment to healthcare. News of his passing has left colleagues and loved ones deeply shaken.

While investigators do not suspect foul play, a full inquiry is under way to establish the circumstances of his death. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause.

In a statement, the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force expressed condolences to Garland’s family, friends, and colleagues, offering support during this time of grief.
