This transition marks another significant milestone in the Government’s ongoing efforts to modernise immigration and employment services, improve operational efficiency, enhance customer service, and provide a more streamlined and transparent application process.

From 1 July, paper applications for work permits will no longer be accepted. All work permit applications must be completed and submitted through the APS portal.

Applicants, employers, and authorised agents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the online platform before the implementation date and ensure they have all required supporting documentation available when submitting applications.

The APS portal can be accessed here.

For the convenience of the public, APS application stations are available at all Department of Employment Services locations across the Turks and Caicos Islands. Individuals who require access to a computer to submit their applications may utilise these designated stations during normal business hours.

The Ministry remains committed to delivering modern, efficient, and accessible public services while strengthening the integrity of the work permit application process through digital transformation.
