“A Night for the Fight” is more than just an event; it is a community gathering aimed at bringing greater awareness to all forms of cancer while promoting hope, support, and unity. The initiative seeks to honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember the angels who have lost their battle with cancer. Through unity, entertainment, and community participation, the event also encourages education, early detection, and continued support for individuals and families affected by cancer throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The evening was filled with unity, love, entertainment, and community spirit as people of all ages gathered in support of the fight against cancer. The children thoroughly enjoyed the games and other activities, bringing laughter and excitement throughout the evening, while some attendees were delighted to win prizes from the entry ticket draws.

We are especially grateful to all participants, supporters, sponsors, volunteers, performers, and everyone who helped to make the event a great success.

We would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to our Master of Ceremonies, Almando Rigby, for doing an outstanding job throughout the evening. Special thanks to Raneika Lightbourne for the beautiful rendition of the National Anthem and song, and to cancer survivor,  Jacqueline Sutton, for the heartfelt opening prayer.

Thanks to President Vivian Rigby for the warm welcome extended to all and the excellent job she did spearheading and putting this event together.  Well done, Madam President!

We also extend sincere thanks to Her Excellency the Deputy Governor, Anya Williams, for delivering a very inspiring and meaningful address, which added great encouragement and support to the evening’s proceedings.
