Omnicare Opens Another Grace Bay Location with Fun Kids Art Event

Operators of Omnicare Hon. Dr. Rufus Ewing (fourth from left), his wife and business partner Dr. Dawn Perry Ewing (third from left) Dr. Davianne Cartwright (second from left) join other staff members in cutting the ribbon to officially declare the Grace Bay location of the practice open.

Omnicare has commissioned a third practice in Grace Bay, Providenciales, officially opening on Saturday, January 21 on the former Scotiabank building adjacent to Graceway Gourmet.

Onmicare Medical shared the building with new neighbors Flamingo Pharmacy, which was open recently.

Omnicare Medical Center has been serving the community of Providenciales since it’s opening in September 2002 at its Town Center Mall location.

The practice is owned by Dr. Rufus W. Ewing (General Surgeon)and Dr. Dawn Perry Ewing (Obstetrician and Gynaecologist) both of whom are widely known nationally in the arena of health care. Dr. Zoe Linares (Family Medicine Specialist) has also been a member of the team since 2002.

Originally offering Family Medicine, Women’s Health and General Surgical clinics, the practice has expanded in the past years offering services in other medical specialty areas such as Pediatric and Adult Neurology, Child and General Psychology clinics and the newly added Paediatric Clinic.

Dr. Davianne Cartwright (Paediatrician) and Dr. Anya Malcolm (Child Psychologist) said their team at Omnicare chose a fun filled art event to welcome young children into the new clinic as this was a great way to rekindle social interaction amongst youngsters in a positive and creative environment.

Children’s hand prints made in bright hues of acrylic paint on canvas from the event will be permanently hung on the walls of the clinic as it’s decor.

The Omnicare team hopes to continue to create positive opportunities for growth and development for all young children as they continue to serve the community of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
