The opposition Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) has released its slate of At-Large candidate that it hopes to field in the next general election, which is constitutionally due by May of 2025.
The list was released on Friday, March 22, 2024, during a news conference at the Blue Haven Resort. The selection of the candidates demonstrates the opposition gearing up for the next polls whenever Premier Hon. Washington Misick calls it.
The five are Deputy Leader of the party Robert Been Jr., former Minister of Immigration, and ex-deputy leader Sean Astwood; former Tourism Minister Ralph Higgs; former Education Minister Karen Malcolm and member of the clergy Dr. Ruth Ariza.
