Plane Crash Victims Rescued By Turks and Caicos Authorities


The two individuals onboard a small plane that crashed off the coast of Northwest Point in Providenciales have been rescued by local authorities and are now receiving treatment at Cheshire Hall Medical Centre.


Shortly after midday, a report was received regarding an aircraft landing on water (ditching) approximately 10 miles from Northwest Point, Providenciales. The aircraft, which had departed from the United States, experienced engine failure.


The two individuals on board – a male and a female – did not sustain serious injuries and were taken to Cheshire Hall Medical Centre for observation. “They found the people in the plane crash - a male and a female. Both are safe,” a police source told NewslineTCI.


Local authorities responded promptly to the incident, ensuring the swift rescue and medical attention for the victims. The cause of the engine failure is currently under investigation.
