Police arrest suspect in Blue Hills armed villa burglary

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force can confirm that one person was arrested on 14 September 2026 in connection with the aggravated burglary that occurred at a villa in Blue Hills, Providenciales, on 6 September 2026.

The investigation, led by the Serious Crime Unit, has established that a group of armed individuals entered the property and confronted guests staying at the villa. Property was stolen during the incident, and one guest was physically assaulted.

The Force acknowledges the international media attention surrounding this matter, including coverage by Fox News. We note that accounts shared publicly have recognised the prompt response of police following the report of the incident. From the moment the report was received, officers immediately commenced investigative actions and have continued to pursue all available leads through a coordinated, intelligence-led investigation.

As a result of these efforts, one suspect has been arrested, and the investigation is now at an advanced stage. Detectives continue to pursue additional lines of enquiry and are actively seeking other individuals believed to have been involved. To protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, no further information regarding the victims or investigative strategies will be released at this time. All available investigative resources are being utilised to ensure that every person responsible is identified, apprehended and brought before the courts.
