Police Investigate Discovery of Lifeless Man in Grand Turk

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force is investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a lifeless male at 6.21 am today in the vicinity of the Overback Basketball Court in Grand Turk.

Officers responded to reports of the incident, upon arrival discovered an unresponsive male at the scene. The District Medical Officer attended the scene and pronounced the man dead.

Investigators from the Serious Crime Unit are actively conducting inquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the death. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending formal identification and notification of next of kin.

The RTCIPF is appealing to anyone with information that may assist in the investigation to contact the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-8477, or submit a report through the Crime Stoppers P3 app.
