Provo to Host Six Nations League Return Games

Providenciales will take centre stage when the Concacaf Nations League returns, hosting all six League C Group A matches at the TCIFA National Academy from September 23 to October 6, with the Turks and Caicos Islands facing Montserrat and the British Virgin Islands twice each.

The two-week football showcase will open on Wednesday, September 23, when the Turks and Caicos Islands meet Montserrat at 3 p.m.

Montserrat will then face the British Virgin Islands on Saturday, September 26, before the British Virgin Islands and Turks and Caicos clash on Tuesday, September 29.

The action will continue in October with the British Virgin Islands playing Montserrat on Thursday, October 1. Turks and Caicos will return to the field against the British Virgin Islands on Sunday, October 4, before closing the group stage against Montserrat on Tuesday, October 6.

All six matches are scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. at the TCIFA National Academy.

The Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association is promoting the event as “six matches, two weeks” and an unforgettable experience for local football supporters.

The centralized format means the territory will host the entire Group A schedule, giving residents the opportunity to watch six senior international matches while allowing the national team to contest all four of its group fixtures on familiar ground.

Every point will be critical. League C consists of nine teams divided into three groups of three, with each country playing its two group opponents twice. The three group winners and the best second-placed team will qualify for the League C Championship, scheduled for March 2027.

In Group B, Antigua and Barbuda will host Aruba and Anguilla at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. Group C, featuring Saint Martin, the Bahamas and the US Virgin Islands, will be staged at Bethlehem Soccer Complex in St. Croix.

The Group B and C matches will be played on the same dates as the Providenciales series: September 23, 26 and 29, followed by October 1, 4 and 6.

The 2026/27 competition is the fifth edition of the Concacaf Nations League and features national teams across Leagues A, B and C. Concacaf has scheduled 74 group-stage matches throughout the region during the September-October window.

League A includes Costa Rica, Jamaica, Honduras, Guatemala, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Curaçao, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Suriname, Martinique and El Salvador. Mexico, the United States, Canada and Panama have received direct entry into the November quarterfinals.

League B comprises 16 countries divided into four groups. Those teams will play during the September-October window and again from November 9–17, with each group winner advancing to the League B Championship.

The competition will also play a role in determining qualification for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.

For Turks and Caicos, however, the immediate task is to make home advantage count. Four important matches—and a possible place in the League C Championship—await the national team as international football returns to Providenciales.

Local supporters will have their first opportunity to rally behind the team on September 23, when Turks and Caicos opens its campaign against Montserrat.
