A special community run hosted by the Road Dogs Running Club today saw over 40 runners turn out to support the future of athletics in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The event featured guest appearances by TCI's past star athletes and high school students who are part of the new Next Generation Turks and Caicos Athletics club.

The run brought together Turks Islanders and the expat community, all united in their support for youth development. A significant portion of the attendees were high school runners participating in the program led by TCI's first Olympian, Delano Williams, along with national coach Courtney Missick and distance record holder Ken Reyes. Their mission is to elevate athletics in the country and provide young athletes with opportunities to compete at a high level.

To support this cause, the Road Dogs Running Club made a monetary donation to the new club, helping to cover the first month's expenses for some of the runners. This is a crucial step in building the type of athletic clubs needed to produce global-standard athletes.
We urge the community to continue supporting these young track and field athletes all year round. Your contributions are vital for the development of our future champions.
