The conference, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., will take place at Abundant Life Ministries International under the theme, “AI and the Future of Human Intelligence: Threat, Tool or Transformation.”

The event is expected to explore one of the most pressing issues facing modern society: the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and the opportunities, challenges and ethical questions it presents for individuals, institutions and faith-based organisations.

The conference will be held under the patronage of the Turks and Caicos Islands' Minister of Innovation, Technology and Energy, Hon. E. Jay Saunders, highlighting the growing importance of conversations surrounding emerging technologies and their implications for society.

Among the featured speakers is Hon. Sebastian Bastian, Bahamas Minister of Innovation and National Development, who is scheduled to address the topic “AI and Small Business.” His presentation is expected to focus on the potential role of artificial intelligence in entrepreneurship, business development and economic advancement.

Also scheduled to speak is internationally recognised religious leader Bishop Neil C. Ellis, founder of Mount Tabor and Global United Fellowship. Bishop Ellis will examine the question “AI – Friend or Foe,” offering a faith-based perspective on the benefits and possible dangers associated with the expanding influence of artificial intelligence.

Bishop Samuel Williams, Assistant Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, will address “AI and the Church,” exploring how technological developments could influence religious institutions, ministry operations and the future of Christian leadership.

The conference will be hosted by Bishop Dr. Coleta A. Williams III and Elect Lady, Elder Chiquita Williams, of Abundant Life Ministries International.

With artificial intelligence increasingly influencing education, business, communication and decision-making, the conference seeks to create an opportunity for meaningful dialogue on how leaders can embrace innovation while remaining grounded in biblical principles and ethical responsibility.

The gathering also reflects the increasing recognition among faith-based organisations that technological advancement presents both opportunities and challenges requiring informed leadership, spiritual discernment and responsible decision-making.

By bringing together voices from government, business and the Christian community, the event aims to encourage participants to consider whether artificial intelligence should be viewed primarily as a threat to human capabilities, a tool for progress or a transformative force reshaping society.

Members of the public, church leaders, entrepreneurs and individuals interested in the future of technology and faith are invited to seek further information about the conference.

For registration and additional information, interested persons may contact 649-331-5619 or 649-345-7285.
