Scheduled Demolition Works Adjacent to Hospital Road


The Ministry of Physical Planning and Infrastructure Development, in collaboration with the Public Works Department (PWD), hereby informs the public of the upcoming demolition works scheduled to take place on the north side of the old DOTS building situated along Hospital Road in Grand Turk.


To ensure public safety and minimize inconveniences, the public is encouraged to adhere to advisories issued.


 The demolition activities are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, the 19th of March 2024. This process is expected to span seven days, concluding on Monday, the 26th of March 2024.


 Motorists using Hospital Road are urged to exercise extreme caution and adhere to the safety measures implemented in the vicinity of the demolition site. The safety of the public and workers is of utmost importance.


Therefore, PWD will install adequate signage and early warning devices along Hospital Road to alert motorists of the demolition works ahead. It is imperative that all road users follow these signs and instructions for their safety.


 Motorists and pedestrians should be aware that they pass through the area at their own risk during the demolition period. Road users are encouraged to use alternative routes where possible to avoid the demolition site and any potential delays or hazards.
