Scotiabank reinforced its engagement with government and business leaders in the Turks and Caicos Islands through a meeting with The Honourable Charles Washington Misick, Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, and a Client Business Outlook Forum with clients and key stakeholders.

Senior executives from Scotiabank visited the Turks and Caicos Islands as part of the Bank’s ongoing regional outreach to reinforce its long-standing partnership with clients, communities and public-sector leaders. The visit follows similar engagements in other Caribbean markets, underscoring Scotiabank’s continued focus on supporting economic growth, strengthening relationships and advancing opportunities across the region.
During his visit, Jabar Singh, President of Scotiabank Dominican Republic and the Caribbean, highlighted the strong outlook and growth opportunities for the Turks and Caicos Islands.
“Turks and Caicos has established a strong global position, supported by a world-class tourism and hospitality sector, continued investment in real estate and a resilient business environment. Scotiabank’s role extends beyond financing. We are committed to connecting clients and investors with the capital, expertise and regional network needed to strengthen infrastructure, support diversification and unlock the market’s next phase of sustainable growth”, said Singh.

As part of the visit, Scotiabank hosted a Client Business Outlook Forum, held at Beaches Resort, bringing together clients, business leaders and key stakeholders to discuss the economic outlook and opportunities facing the market.
Kenisha Bacchus, Managing Director of the Financial Services Commission, participated in the Forum and delivered remarks on strengthening financial stability. Beyond its business commitments, Scotiabank continues to invest in communities through its ScotiaRISE initiative, supporting education and career development opportunities that help individuals and families build a stronger future.
Also, in attendance were Scotiabank executives Roger Archer, Vice President and Country Head Scotiabank Bahamas; Dr. Suzan Ochoa Snaggs-Wilson, Managing Director, Scotiabank Turks and Caicos and Abraham Obaldia Sanchez, Managing Director - Commercial Banking, Caribbean. Scotiabank will build on this engagement by connecting capital with priority opportunities, expanding solutions for clients and investors, and convening continued dialogue between the public and private sectors. This commitment extends to the communities the Bank serves through education and career development opportunities which help individuals and families participate in—and benefit from—the market’s continued growth.
