A suspect has been apprehended by the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force in connection with the murder of 52-year-old Kew Town resident, David Leon McIntosh.
The police did not give much details on the suspect, only to say that the arrest took place around 12:12 a.m. today (July 20), and that the suspect was currently in police custody.
The incident occurred on July 19th when McIntosh suffered fatal gunshot wounds in the morning. Upon receiving information about the shooting at approximately 1:42 a.m. on the same day, authorities were alerted and immediately dispatched to the scene. McIntosh was swiftly taken to the hospital for medical treatment but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force urges the public to come forward with any relevant information regarding this murder or any other illicit activities.
