Officers from the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force's Serious Crime Unit are investigating a suspected murder that took place in Five Cays, Providenciales, this morning, marking the 39th homicide of the year.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 9:38 a.m., several calls were made to the Police Control Room reporting gunshots in the area. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a male victim lying motionless on the ground.
As investigations continue, the police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
