TCHTA Creates Immersive Turks and Caicos Experience During Dallas Reception

The Turks and Caicos Islands Hotel and Tourism Association (TCHTA) took participants attending the Dallas leg of the Premier’s Roadshow on an immersive journey through the destination with the debut of a custom virtual reality viewer showcasing the beauty and experiences of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The branded binocular-style viewers were placed on tables throughout a ballroom at the Hotel Swexan, offering invited guests an immersive and tactile way to experience the destination’s turquoise waters, luxury resorts, marine adventures, and natural beauty. The activation formed part of broader efforts by the TCHTA to create deeper and more memorable connections with potential visitors through innovative and experiential marketing.

“As travellers increasingly seek experiential and immersive interactions, this creative tool allows us to bring the Turks and Caicos Islands directly to audiences in a way that is engaging, memorable, and emotionally impactful,” said Stacy Cox, TCHTA CEO. “It offers guests a sensory introduction to the destination before ever stepping onto the islands.”

The Premier’s Road Show, organized by the TCHTA with support from Experience Turks and Caicos, the Ministry of Tourism, Invest Turks and Caicos, and the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA), touched down in four U.S. cities this week — New York, Dallas, Denver, and Chicago.

The Road Show officially launched on May 18th at the Grayson Hotel with the debut of the “Meet Me in Turks and Caicos” destination anthem and accompanying music video, developed as part of the destination’s latest tourism campaign.

Guests attending the Dallas reception included former Dallas Cowboys player Kavon Frazier, journalist Terri Guthrie, and several travel advisors from the Dallas area.
