TCI Face-Off Against T&T In Concacaf W World Cup Qualifiers

All roads will lead to the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association’s (TCIFA) Academy Field off Venetian Road on Wednesday, April 6, when the National Women’s Team take on Trinidad and Tobago’s National Women’s team in a Concacaf W World Cup Qualifiers, to take place in Australia and New Zealand.

The time of the game is 3:30p.m, and the game is open to the public, with COVID-19 restrictions apply.

Despite the TCI team being an extremely young in average age, they are a bunch of women with a dogged attitude, and so, one should expect good competition against their more fancied counterparts.

Technical Director, Dane Richie, in a previous interview, told NewslineTCI that despite his charges being a young squad, they improve with each game. He said at the time that while the aim is to qualify, it is also to build for the future.

The entrance for the general public will be at the road adjacent to the National Stadium, the Football Association said in a statement.
