TCI Road Dogs Premiere Half-Marathon Film on Father's Day

The Road Dogs Running Club, a vibrant running community from the Turks and Caicos Islands, is thrilled to announce the release of their short film, "The Journey to 13.1," airing this Father's Day, June 15th, 2025 @ 7pm on their Facebook Page.


The film chronicles the club's inaugural international trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they participated in the A1A Half Marathon. "The Journey to 13.1" offers an intimate look at their preparation, race experience, and triumphant return, highlighting how every club member achieved their personal best. The film explores themes of health, overcoming adversity, and the power of community, emphasizing that the journey is as important as the destination.


Founded in August 2024, the Road Dogs Running Club unites individuals with a shared love for running, wellness, and community, guided by the motto: "Every Dog Has Its Pace." The club trains and races together, uplifting each other on their journey.


The club's Executive Members include President Leonardo Lightbourne, Vice President Omard Gardiner, Treasurer Alidavidson Higgs, Secretary Darado Fulford, and Membership Coordinator Reno Palmer.
