Transformative Training For TCI Top Model Takes Center Stage

Training for Cycle 7 of TCI Top Model 2026 kicked off over the weekend with two transformative workshops designed to strengthen contestants from the inside out. Over back-to-back sessions, participants explored resilience, adaptability, health and self discipline, essential qualities for success in the modern modelling industry.

Resilience and Adaptability in the Modelling Industry

Tremaine Harvey, partner at Misick & Stanbrook and former television journalist, led the first workshop addressing real industry challenges and practical responses.

Through role play, group reflection and mental toughness exercises, contestants practised receiving constructive criticism, managing rejection, on set problem solving and collaborative teamwork, and left with journaling prompts, curated resource lists and individualised action plans to build resilience, flexibility and sustained confidence in front of the camera.

The session included mindfulness, visualisation and success mindset techniques; exercises to strengthen teamwork and on set adaptability; and strategies for maintaining positivity, effective networking and a personal mission statement, all aimed at turning potential into longevity by equipping models to meet pressure with poise and learn quickly from feedback.

In speaking of the session, Mrs Harvey stated: “Resilience and adaptability are the foundation of a lasting career - learn from critique, rise from rejection, and show up with purpose. Confidence is built through practice, reflection and persistence.”

Health Care and Self Discipline

The second session, led by John K. Wright, CEO and founder of Wrightfully Fit Fitness Centers, focused on practical strategies for sustaining appearance and wellbeing. Covering balanced nutrition for energy and skin health, exercise regimens for strength and tone, daily skin and hair care routines, and mental-wellness practices for stress management, the workshop encouraged contestants to build disciplined routines that maintain consistency amid demanding schedules.

By combining nutrition, fitness, grooming and mental-health techniques, attendees left with actionable plans to integrate healthy habits into daily life and strengthen their careers through improved resilience and confidence.

During a motivational exercise Wright urged participants to embrace ambition, wisdom, dreams, growth and confidence as tools to overcome laziness, anger, fear, ego and doubt, reminding them that healthy habits and a clear mindset give them the power to show up and perform at their best every day.

In an invited comment, Mr Wright said: “Discipline fuels potential - consistent nutrition, training and wellness habits create the stamina and presence required to perform at your best, every day.”

Together, the workshops provided contestants with practical tools and mindset shifts: resilience training sharpened emotional agility and collaboration, while health and discipline reinforced sustainable performance through nutrition, fitness and routines. Combined, they foster professional longevity, consistent on-set presence and the confidence needed to navigate modelling’s physical and psychological demands success.
