The Provo Premier League continues Saturday, March 12 with a double header at the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) Academy Field, Venetian Road.

In the opening fixture, Apertura Knock-Out Cup Champions SWA Sharks FC will face-off against last season’s title contenders Beaches FC beginning at 6p.m. That encounter is expected to be a cracker, as Beaches will seek to get the ascendancy over the highly fancied Sharks, who will certainly enter the game as favourites.

In the feature encounter at 8p.m. League Champions Blue Hills FC will take on Teachers FC. While Teachers are disciplined aggregation, they should be hard-pressed by the league champions to come away with a positive result. Most certainly, Blue Hills should enter that game as heavy favourites.

One game is scheduled for Sunday, March 13. Flamingo FC will seek to match skills against the talented Academy Eagles beginning at 7p.m. The Eagles, though not featured in the homestretch of the title race last season, should not be counted out, as they possess a bunch of young players who can deliver on any day.

They should have the edge entering that fixture.

In game played so far, Teachers FC got by Eagles by five goals to nil on February 26; Beaches ended 1-1 with Flamingo FC on February 27; Sharks got by Teachers 2-0 on March 5; Beaches and Eagles ended goalless on March 5; while Blue Hills Flamingo FC 4-2.
