Two Men Get Life Sentences for Evason Walkin Murder

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) notes the sentencing of two men convicted for the murder of Evason Walkin, also known as "Archie".

On Wednesday, 7 October 2026, at the Supreme Court in Grand Turk, Jevano Arthur, born 4 June 2003, of Residence Yard, Five Cays, Providenciales, and Archley Forbes, born 14 December 2002, of Residence Yard, Five Cays, Providenciales, appeared before His Honour Mr. Justice Tunde Bakre for sentencing.
The Court sentenced both men to life imprisonment, with each required to serve a minimum term of 28 years before becoming eligible for parole consideration.
Arthur and Forbes were convicted in connection with the murder of Evason Walkin, born 24 September 1996, which occurred on 10 October 2024 in the Club Med Yard area of Five Cays, Providenciales.

The conviction and sentencing mark the conclusion of a lengthy and complex investigation undertaken by officers of the RTCIPF. The Force remains committed to pursuing justice for victims of violent crime and ensuring that those responsible for such offences are brought before the courts.
