Two more people charged in Aqua Blue Villa burglary investigation

News Release


The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) continues to make progress in its investigation into the aggravated burglary at Aqua Blue Villa, Bay Road, Blue Hills, Providenciales which occurred on Sunday, 6 September 2026.


To date, three persons have been charged in connection with the investigation. A male suspect was first charged in relation to the matter. This was followed by the charging of Maia Ashley Shenique Cox, 20, of Juba Sound, Providenciales, on 24 September 2026, and D'Angelo Delancy, 22, of Providenciales, on 4 October 2026.


The charges laid so far in the investigation include:

  • Handling Stolen Goods

  • Obtaining Property by Deception

  • Obtaining Pecuniary Advantage by Deception

  • Theft of a Chose in Action


All charges arise from ongoing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the aggravated burglary.


The RTCIPF remains committed to identifying and prosecuting all individuals involved in this serious offence. Investigators continue to pursue all available lines of enquiry and will work diligently to ensure that all perpetrators connected to this incident are brought to justice.


As the matter is before the courts and investigations remain ongoing, no further details will be provided at this time.
